Always be prepared with EMBER

EMBER is an Australian program that supports people living with disability, and their carers, to plan for emergencies. Developed by the Flagstaff Group, which provides opportunities for employment and other life skills for people living with disability, EMBER has a website, an app, and a podcast.

Plan with the P-CEP Workbook

The Person-Centred Emergency Plan (P-CEP) Workbook places people living with disability at the centre of their emergency plans. 

The Workbook is a practical planning tool that can be used by people living with disability and their carers to ensure that their emergency plans are tailored to their individual needs. 

RediPlan by Red Cross

RediPlan by Red Cross is a guide to help people prepare for disasters. They have made their RediPlan available in a number of different formats, including in easy English, for older people, for people with a chronic illness, for people with a physical disability, for people with children, and more. 

Auslan resources with DeafNav

DeafNav makes emergency information accessible to people who Deaf, deafblind, and hard-of-hearing by translating essential information into Auslan.

Online learning for workers and carers with CFA

CFA provide a range of online learning modules for people who are working or caring for people living with disability or who have additional needs and are living in high bushfire risk areas.
