Current and upcoming road closures and changes
Bright Make it Bake it Grow it Monthly Market
6am – 1.30pm every 3rd Saturday of the month
The Howitt Park Soundshell car park will be closed to allow for the safe staging of the monthly market.
Myrtleford Alpine Rally
6.30am to 4.30pm, Saturday 20 September 2025
Speed reductions will be in place on Myrtleford-Yackandandah Rd between the entrance to the showgrounds and Briggs Lane, and on Briggs Lane, Myrtleford
Please expect delays and drive with caution
Harrietville Half Marathon
Sunday 12th October 2025
Due to the event using the Great Valley Trail (starting from Tawonga Gap Road and ending in Harrietville), residents and visitors are to be advised that there will be increased traffic along the shared route.
Bright Twilight Tastings
2pm - 9pm Thursday 16th October
The following roads in Bright will be closed to allow for the safe staging of the event:
- Ireland Street
- Anderson at Wood Street
- Burke Street (local traffic only)
Barnard and Camp Street will remain open.
Anderson Street Bright bus stop will be relocated to Apex Park Bright from 2pm to 9pm on Thursday 16 October.
Dargo High Plains Road
The Dargo High Plains Road is now closed and will reopen in Spring 2025.
