Water quality warnings are now in place for the Bright River Pool, Porepunkah River Pool and Porepunkah Toddler Pool.
Water quality testing this week has shown higher than usual levels of E.coli in all three locations.
We advise against swimming and other recreational activities. The Bright Waterslide is also currently closed.
Signage is in place. Please do not remove the signs - they are in place to ensure all visitors to the pools can make an informed choice on water quality and swimming.
We will remove the signs once levels have returned to normal. Keep an eye on our social media pages and website for up-to-date information on water quality.
We understand with the upcoming long weekend and expected spate of hot weather, these warnings are less than ideal; however the water quality is unfortunately beyond our control.
The Bright Splash Park has an independent water supply and is safe to use. The Myrtleford Splash is also still open and operating.
