Scrubbers Hut will experience a number of small upgrades to its internal facilities in the lead up to the upcoming winter season, resulting in partial closures during the month of April.
Beginning in late March, works will occur in the bathroom and general internal areas.
Upgrades in the bathrooms include the replacement of existing basins and toilets, as well as the installation of vinyl flooring.
Rubber matting will be placed in internal, general use areas, and walls will be repainted.
Scrubbers Hut and surrounding facilities will remain open to visitors during the construction period, with signage in place to indicate what amenities are closed to visitors.
Visitors are reminded to respect all signage and stay away from any works taking place at the time of visitation.
The open shelter will not be affected, with the barbeque area remaining open and available for use.
At least one toilet will always remain open and usable by the public.
Works are expected to be complete by Sunday, 26 April 2026.
