Seeking a Letter of Support for a Grant Application?

If you're applying for external grant funding for a project that requires a letter of support and/or Council funding, you’ll need to complete the form below.

This process helps ensure that Alpine Shire Council can properly assess the project’s feasibility, delivery requirements, and community benefit. 

It also supports timely preparation of any required Letter of Support or confirmation of Council’s role in delivering the project.

When to Submit

We recommend submitting an application as soon as you decide to apply for a grant.

This allows us to:

  • Confirm land ownership and delivery responsibilities
  • Provide feedback on project scope and budget
  • Determine whether a Letter of Support can be provided (or is required)
  • Support a smooth and timely grant application

Requests must be submitted at least 14 days prior to the required due date to allow for assessment and processing.

This Process Applies To:

  • External (non-Council) grants
  • Projects involving Council-managed land, buildings, or public facilities
  • Applications submitted by community groups, clubs, or external organisations
