The Myrtleford Visitor Information Centre is looking for new faces to join Council's team of volunteers.

24 July 2019

Council’s Manager Facilities Brett Jordan said volunteers help showcase the Alpine Shire to visitors and provide essential assistance to VIC staff.

“Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, get out and about, and share with visitors all that is great about our towns,” he said.

“Our volunteers are so important to the way our centres run, and they have the chance to help many visitors get the most out of their holiday."

Full training provided and once training is complete volunteers work unassisted in the centre.

Volunteers are offered one 3.5 hour shift either weekly or fortnightly and applicants must be available for a few weekend shifts as needed. Basic computer skills required.

If interested please phone 5755 0514 during business hours, or email carleys@alpineshire.vic.gov.au.
