COVID Restrictions Update

From 11.59pm on Thursday, 10 June restrictions for regional Victoria will be further eased.

The following Council customer-facing facilities and services will reopen for regular hours from Friday, 11 June:

  • Bright Sports Centre and pool

Learn to Swim classes will resume on Tuesday.

Visitors to Council facilities will need to check in via a QR code and present their identification as a requirement of entry. Density limits apply.

Changes to restrictions for regional Victoria include:

  • Indoor physical recreation and sport, including gyms, can reopen
  • Community sport for all ages, training and competition can operate
  • Private gatherings in the home are allowed, limited to two adults per day and their dependents
  • Public gatherings are permitted for up to 20 people

QR code requirements for businesses:

  • QR code record keeping requirements remain mandatory in retail settings, like supermarkets and shops. 
  • Retailers must use the Service Victoria QR Code Service.
  • The 15-minute threshold will also be removed so anyone entering a shop or a cafe will need to check-in, regardless of how long they visit the premises.
