Youth Awards

The Youth Awards are held each year in the Alpine Shire. Anyone can nominate a young person for an award.

Nominations for the 2019 Alpine Shire Youth Awards are now open.

Members of the community are invited to nominate an outstanding young person in one of eight categories:

  • Academic
  • Community
  • Endurance and Persistence
  • Sports and Recreation
  • Workplace
  • Rural
  • Performing Arts
  • Visual Arts and Media

The Alpine Shire Youth Award (12 – 16 years old) and Alpine Shire Youth Award (17-21 years old) are selected from the finalists of the category awards.

Nominations close on Monday, 5 August 2019.

Youth Awards are presented at a red carpet award ceremony in September.
