If you would like to start a new business, buy an existing business or organise an event within the Alpine Shire, you may need a permit.
To streamline the process, permits for business and events can now be found within a single application form.
To help you navigate the application process, we have set up a Business Concierge. The Business Concierge provides you with a single point of contact to assist with pre-application questions and provide support before, during and after obtaining your permits.
This Business Concierge will help you become operational as quickly as possible by assisting you to:
- apply for your business permits
- connecting you with different council departments
- provide information on available grants
- connect you with industry groups
