We are seeking an experienced Plant and Fleet professional to join our Maintenance team, to plan and coordinate the logistics and maintenance of Plant, Fleet and Equipment whilst contributing to the smooth running of depot operations.
The Plant and Fleet Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the organisation with coordinating plant and fleet maintenance, supporting the department in plant and fleet capital renewal planning, and the purchase of new and upgraded plant and fleet.

Our ideal candidate
To be successful in this role you will need to be passionate, multi-skilled, and able to consistently deliver at a high standard and support a positive risk management, compliance, and safety culture across our depots and plant and fleet operations.
Your duties will include:
- Administer roadworthiness and safe operating condition of all plant and vehicles.
- Coordinate the purchase of new and renewal programs for plant and fleet.
- Supervise Administration Officer in daily depot operations administrative tasks.
- Ensuring safe depot operations across each of Council’s in Bright, Myrtleford and Mount Beauty depots, including ensuring that equipment and building of the depots are maintained.
- Develop and maintain systems to increase efficiency of Depot operations.
Your skills will include:
- Experience in plant and vehicle coordination or Technical/Trade qualification related to heavy plant & vehicles.
- Experience in maintaining and repairing plant and heavy equipment desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other IT applications.
- Driver's license, Medium Truck license desirable.
- Provide First Aid (HLTAID003).
- Worksafe Construction Induction Card
