An opportunity exists to join our multi-purpose crew on a full-time basis to join in on the delivery of the maintenance and operation of Council’s infrastructure and associated assets throughout the Alpine Shire.
You will undertake key responsibilities in a professional, efficient, and timely manner; and contribute to Council’s aim of being a values-based organisation.
Council’s Multi-Purpose team delivers civil and open spaces works including:
- Maintenance and repairs to other public assets including signage, tracks and trails
- Bridge maintenance and repairs
- Building maintenance works as required
- Roadside vegetation maintenance
- Maintaining parks and gardens
- Sealed and Unsealed road maintenance
- Continuous improvement

Experience and qualifications
In addition to your relevant industry experience, you will have an enthusiastic personality who can work within a team to achieve great outcomes. You will also have good communication skills, excellent customer service skills and the ability to use technology such as iPads and email in the course of your work. Your relevant Civil, Construction or Horticultural certificates and/or experience will be the backbone of your success in this role.

- Secure Full time permanent position based in Bright
- Salary based on Band 3 classification, from $34.41 per hour plus superannuation and leave loading
