Council in partnership with Sun Cinema Bright are thrilled to present special community screenings of ‘Penguin Bloom’ at our Open-Air Cinemas across the Alpine Shire.
After a challenging 12 months, communities across the Alpine Shire are invited to celebrate and reflect on their resilience with a screening of Penguin Bloom - a heart warming and uplifting Australian story.
Mount Beauty | Friday 26 February | Les Peart Oval
Harrietville | Saturday 27 February | Tavare Park
Myrtleford | Friday 5 March | Recreation Reserve and Showgrounds
Bright | Saturday 19 March | Howitt Park
Previews will commence from 7:45pm, with the screening to follow from sunset or 8:30pm (whichever is first).
Bring along your picnic rug and chairs, your friends and family! Sit back, relax and enjoy a screening at an open air cinema nearest to you!
Events funded by the Victorian and Commonwealth Governments Community Recovery Package under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA), to assist communities impacted by the 2019/20 bushfires.
