Alpine Sport and Active Recreation Plan

The plan aims to improve participation in sport and active recreation. 

The Sport and Active Recreation Plan 2022 - 2033 has been adopted by Council.

The report examines the existing trends and activities for sport and active recreation across the Alpine Shire, barriers to increased participation and makes recommendations for action that Council can take that will enable further active sport and recreation across a range of activities across the Shire. 

The project investigated the activities people engage in across the Shire, along with the facilities and groups that exist to support these activities. It examined and assessed ways that Council can positively influence greater participation in sport and active recreation.
