The Alpine Shire’s senior citizens are invited to sign up early for two musical offerings this October.
As part of the state-wide Seniors Festival, Alpine Shire Council is supporting events in Wangaratta and Milawa.
24 July 2019
Manager Economic and Community Development Elaine Burridge said Council has secured a limited number of tickets at an early bird price.
“We have funding to cover the cost of transport to the events, which makes them very affordable for anyone wanting to attend,” she said.
“Our full calendar of events will be available mid-September, however we need to confirm purchase of these tickets by the end of July.
“We encourage people to book soon.”
Tickets for Lady Beatle on Saturday, 26 October at Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre are now on sale for only $37, including transport.
Lady Beatle is the must-see live music event of the year. Starring UK-born Australian stage and screen star Naomi Price and inspired by true accounts, Lady Beatle is a rollicking magical mystery tour sound tracked by The Beatles’ biggest chart toppers, including Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds, Eleanor Rigby, Yellow Submarine and Penny Lane.
On Saturday, 19 October a bus will be departing Bright and Myrtleford to a performance by the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra Quartet in Milawa. Tickets for this show are available for $30 per person including transport.
Alpine Shire residents wishing to take up these offers are advised to book on Eventbrite or email firstname.lastname@example.org for information on how to book.
