Council has received funding from Sport and Recreation Victoria to develop an Alpine Active Sport and Recreation Plan.

About

The plan aims to improve participation in sport and active recreation.

It will examine the existing trends and activities for sport and active recreation across the Alpine Shire, barriers to increased participation and recommended actions to enable further participation in sport and recreation activities.

The project will look at the activities people engage in across the Shire, along with the facilities and groups that exist to support these activities. It will examine and assess ways that Council can positively influence greater participation in sport and active recreation. This project will be delivered by June 2021 and will include multiple avenues for residents to have their say.

These are:

Have your say - complete the community survey

Participate in online engagement via the Social Pinpoint platform here - tell us where you think facilities need improvement, register for a listening post or workshop, or tell us what needs to happen to help you be more active.

Survey is now closed.
