Don't miss out on La Fiera festival tickets

Tickets are now on sale for the Masquerade Ball, Choral Festival, Spaghetti Western Film Festival, Comedy Roadshow, the Italian Connection Rally Dinner and the Living Chess Match – which are all part of this year’s La Fiera Festival coming up in Myrtleford in May.

Alpine Mayor, Cr Nino Mautone said the festival committee has put together a very busy and exciting program and those who don't want to miss out can start purchasing tickets now.

The La Fiera Italian Festival will be held from 14 - 23 May in Myrtleford and surrounds.

"This is just one of the great things to do in autumn in our region. Don't forget the Bright Autumn Festival and the Mount Beauty Music Festival too," Cr Mautone said.

La Fiera opens with the Venetian Masquerade Ball, where the best dressed will win a trip for two to Rome and there are also other prizes on offer. The Tortellini Trail will encourage visitors to either ride or drive their way to a series of participating wineries and farm gates around Myrtleford to sample and purchase produce. Other highlights include:

  • A one-night only performance by the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow
  • The World's Longest Pasta Lunch held at Michelini Wines will see 150 guests enjoy a 4-course Italian feast on a long table
  • The Italian Connection Trophy Rally and dinner
  • The Living Chess Match and
  • The festival will close with a lantern parade through town, ending at McNamara Reserve with a fireworks display.

Tickets for the key events are now available for online purchase or in person from the Myrtleford Visitor Information Centre.
