Council's Community grants
Community groups and organisations provide vital services and support to Alpine Shire residents.
Alpine Shire Council is committed to supporting these valuable activities by providing a funding opportunity to assist groups in the areas of arts and culture, sport, recreation, festivals, events, community capacity building and the environment.

The Community Grants program for 2008/09 is $85,000 and will be available in two funding rounds of $42,500.

Council calls for applications twice a year.

 
Other grants available
Many grant opportunities present themselves through out the year and Alpine Shire Council provides a listing of these in a monthly newsletter called Community Connections.

Council is also happy to research grant opportunities for you. Assistance can be received through the Community Services department by calling (03) 5755 0555.

The Victorian government's Department of Planning and Community Development provides a comprehensive listing of grants available to both government and community groups. A complete listing of these can be found at the link below or be accessed by phoning the Grants Information Line - 1300 366 356.
