2016/17 Alpine Shire budget adopted
$10.7 MILLION for capital works, the lowest rate increase in the history of Alpine Shire Council and a commitment to further recurring savings are highlights of the 2016/17 Alpine Shire Budget. Council adopted the budget at a Special Council Meeting on Thursday, 28 June.
Lighting up McNamara Reserve
MYRTLEFORD’S McNamara Reserve oval and netball courts will receive a $238,000 lighting upgrade to support increased community participation in sport and recreation. Alpine Shire Council applied for $100,000 through Sport and Recreation Victoria’s Country Football and Netball Program, and the success of the application was confirmed last month.

The Alpine Shire Council is pleased to offer LIVE streaming of our monthly Council Meetings on YouTube. This gives residents the opportunity to observe Council business via their computers and mobile devices. This is a significant step forward in terms of making our Councillor's and Officers more visible to the community.
