| Community Satisfaction Survey | | The annual Community Satisfaction Survey (CSS) coordinated by Local Government Victoria provides a benchmark that many Councils across Victoria utilise to compare their own performance against that of other Councils across the State.
In response to feedback from local councils, Local Government Victoria (LGV) introduced methodological and content changes to the CSS in 2012 to provide the sector with more reliable and meaningful results to inform decision making and support strategic planning. For these reasons, LGV has indicated that direct comparison with previous CSS results is not possible. This means that the 2012 year effectively becomes ‘year zero’, or the benchmark from which all new data will be compared. Tracking and comparisons will be possible in future years.
