| Great Alpine Valleys Seasonal Tourism Fact Sheets | | In 2010 the Alpine Shire Council’s Tourism Marketing Team developed point of sale surveys (Enter & Win surveys) available through local participating operators and Visitor Information Centres. The surveys are derived from Tourism Victoria’s figures for Victoria’s High Country- Market Profile. The information presented draws together data collected throughout the Great Alpine Valleys (GAV) as well as the document ‘Tourism Insights 08/09’ (TI) and information provided by Tourism Victoria in the ‘Victoria’s High Country Fact Sheet’ (VHC). Our aim is to provide you further information to aid business decisions and tracking of trends. | Victoria’s High Country Market Profile | | Tourism Victoria's Market Profile fact sheet provides a summary of the latest tourism data for Victoria's High Country campaign region.
Information included on the fact sheet includes domestic and international visitor numbers, visitor expenditure and domestic visitor profiles such as origin, purpose of visit, visitor activities and travel parties.
The fact sheet forms the basis for the Great Alpine Valleys enter & win surveys and seasonal tourism fact sheets.

| Alpine Business Survey | | An Alpine Shire business survey was conducted in 2010 asking business owners to provide basic information about their current situation and future outlook for their business. This survey is now complete, the full report is available for download below.
The information from the survey is being used to develop an Economic Development Strategy to assist in effectively growing and supporting businesses in the Alpine Shire.
