With almost 100 festivals and events on the Great Alpine Valley's annual calendar, barely a weekend passes without something new to do.

| Victoria's Great Alpine Valleys is home to many festivals and events, each celebrating the diversity and beauty of the area.
There is something to please everybody with festivities including family activities, gourmet food and wine, cycling events, community festivals, markets, music and entertainment, cultural and sporting events to name but a few.

| Tourism Festival and Event Funding | | Submissions for Tourism Festival and Event Funding are now open.
This is the second year that this process has been run and is a system for tourism based festivals and events held in the Alpine Shire. We are currently taking expressions of interest for events taking place in the 2013-2014 financial year.
Expressions of interest close on Monday 1 July 2013 with all funding allocated in August/ September 2013. Events are strategically important and contribute to the economic wellbeing of the Alpine Shire. We encourage all event organisers to apply for funding for their event. Funding will be granted in two forms; financial and in-kind.
